Run Forrest Run!

Being a bride to be, I really want to be slim and beautiful on my wedding day. Of course! Sino ba naman ang may ayaw?! I already tried a lot ways to loose weight pero still nothing happened! Waahh! I even enrolled myself to gym but still I never loose but my pocket looses for nothing. I even tried 7 days, but again and again, the effect is still the same. :( And now, I'm into running, so far they say, I loose weight a little bit (madaya kasi, mabilis pumayat ang mukha) but so far I'm happy with the result and sana tuloy-tuloy na nga. Run Forrest run!

Last Friday, I was able to get my first ever race pack from Nike Run 2010. I was quite dissapointed because I was expecting a lot of freebies, vouchers, etc. But when I open the bag, you can only see some vouchers, worth 5 to 10sgd and one can of 100plus drink. My friend and I were really sad (hahaha) because we are expecting too much, more nike vouchers sana, pambili man lang ng shoes e kaso wala naman.

And then I just realized, I pay 37sgd for the registration not just for the vouchers or freebies but for the experience that I would get on the run. Pampalubag loob. And of course joining in this run is my own way of losing weight before my big day! I'm still excited because this is my first 10km run ever in my whole life and sana masundan pa.

So here are the things inside the loot bag.

the bag

the race shirt (look likes MMDA!)

the vouchers (see the spa? unfortunately it's
only for PR and Singaporeans. :()

All brides to be out there, what are your ways or preparations to look good on your wedding day? :)

So many things to do, so little time....

While I was adding a wedding ticker countdown on my blog, I just found out that it would be 161 days before my wedding. Maybe you would tell me that, "Hey it's still 5 months to go! Ang tagal pa nyan! Ok ka lang?!" No I'm not! 5 months would fly fast. Being a bridezilla, it's really hard for me to do all the stuffs needed for the wedding (I'm glad I have my coordinator). And makes even harder for me because I am an overseas bride. Ang hirap pala magpakasal!

I still have a lot of things to finish, I thought, only in my work I could have a deadline, pati din pala sa wedding. I still don't have my monogram, even the layout of my invitation has not yet finished. Even the final entourage list is wala pako. Hayyysss...

But thinking, that in 161 days, after 7 years of waiting, more than 3 years of not being together, finally, on March 26, 2011, I'll be marrying my bestfriend, my lover, my best enemy (hahaha!) my celebrity, my avid fan, is already enough to trash all the worries and have a biggest smile while doing all the stuffs needed for the wedding. So help me God! :)

Fort Canning Park

Last Monday, I received an email from a friend in Dubai, asking me to take some pictures of trees here in Singapore. I want to tell her, Duh??!! Why here??? Is it really need that the trees are made in Singapore? But because of my love for this friend and for SFC, I decided to go somewhere and just take pictures.

Yesterday, after my work, I rushed to Fort Canning Park to take some pictures. Actually my original plan is to go to Istana Park but when I googled it, I saw that Fort Canning is bigger than Istana, meaning I have a lot of choices, more trees, more views? I think so.. Anyway, going to Fort Canning Park is really a right decision. I would love to come back there again, but not to take pictures but just sit down there and read some books and if you want to have some peace of mind, I would definitely recommend this place. So here are the some pictures that I took. (Forgive me for not giving justice to the pictures, I don't have an DSLR camera and I am not a photographer.:)).

 Escalator in the park?

I love to sit here with my God's gift :)

That's all folks!
